Congratulations to Jessica and Hannah

Congratulations to Jessica and the Cedar Park Girls Soccer team for placing 1st in District play. Playoffs will begin this week. In the final game of the season against Westwood one of the forwards had an injury in the last 5 minutes of the game, Jessica went in for that player and scored a goal and had an awesome assist for a goal. The final score against Westwood was 3-0. It is very exciting to be in the playoffs again especially with it being her Senior year. We are very proud of Jessica.

Hannah ran in her first track meet of the season on Thursday. She ran in 3 races placing 2nd in the 800, 1st in the mile and 1st in the mile relay. She did an amazing job in all three races, she ran the second leg of the mile relay and helped her relay team take a huge lead ultimately winning the race by a very large gap. We are so proud of her.

Let the journey begin

Thanks to the help of my good friend Conni and encouragement from others I am finally setting up a blog for our family. For many months I have enjoyed reading other people's blogs and decided it was time to try one myself. I am new at this and hope that you will be patient with me as I figure out how this all works. I really enjoy reading blogs and hope that you will enjoy reading ours. More importantly this will give our loved ones in Utah and other states an opportunity to keep up with our busy family.
